Diane at Te Deum Laudamus carries a great report with plenty of photos about this prayer vigil which took place last Saturday. Over 500 people took part in a prayerful and peaceful witness. If this were replicated in other cities and dioceses, many more lives of our vulnerable unborn brothers and sisters would be saved.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the post and link. These online posts are an extension of the physical witness. It is a virtual witness to what happened. I hope other bloggers and news sources will move this story. It's not every day that you see an archbishop leading a vigil of this size on a lazy Saturday morning, and credit goes to all those souls who got up quite early to be there with him.
This event was organized by the Helpers of God's Precious Infants of Michigan.

Are you asking if there is a "Helpers" group in the UP? Not sure. I know the one I'm involved with is quite local, even though tt is called " of Michigan".
