Oremus pro Antistite nostro Alexandro. Stet et pascat in fortitudine tua, Domine, in sublimitate nominis tui.
(Let us pray for our Bishop Alexander. May he stand firm and shepherd his flock by Your strength, O Lord, in the majesty of Your name.)
Here is a slide show of some of my photos from yesterday's March for Life. Huge crowds including masses of youth. That's what happens when you are pro-life - you get lots of young people!
It is easy to feel despair at times when so many do NOT respect life, and when the press and the anti-abortion "movement" would have us believe that pro-lifers comprise only an isignificant minority. These photos are inspiring. It is very moving to see such numbers of people, obviously from all walks of life, and from all over the world (evidenced by your presence there, Fr. John, and the many signs in languages other than English.) To me,these pictures vividly demonstrate that there are millions of people who believe that life begins at conception, reject moral relativism, and hold that wrong is wrong. PERIOD.
