I have just heard that some fantastic young people of my parish are taking part in this day of silent solidarity. If others can join in this without experiencing any serious consequences for their education, I would very much encourage them to do so. The campaign is specifically targetted at school kids. Schools have all sorts of "awareness" days. I bet very few have abortion "awareness" days. So good for our youngsters who are making a stand. The young are the pro-life generation.
