Fox News interview with former Planned Parenthood Executive Director

Could we ever have an interview like this on British TV?

Thanks to LifeSiteNews.

  1. God Willing, someday you will! BTW often times the BEST thing you can do for a woman considering an abortion is to show her an ultrasound picture of the baby. PP type clinics hate it when alternate prolife clinics set up to help mothers also have an ultrashound taken and show it to the mother. Fr. Tim F. had a stunning 3D ultrasound up this last week of an 8 week old fetus -- that which the proabortion crowd pretends is a "blob of tissue."

Keep up the witness -- these things don't happen overnight.

Another simple thing to do that works on people in the clinic is to simply send small holy cards of Madonna and child. Especially around Christmas. You don't even need to add literature.

If it's anything like here, you'll notice the "going rate" for receptionists for such places tend to be higher paid than a person in a similar reception job. They have to pay them a lot, because there is a high turnover -- so this sort of thing DOES get to people.

  2. This is spoiled by the music you have playing.....renders the interview almost inaudible!

  3. Thanks, Fr EF. You can always pause the music. Have had several positive against this first negative comment on the music. Will review.

  4. Wel, I was going to say something re: the music too, but I thought you'd figure it out, but now that you mention it.... [Is there a way to put the default as "not playing" unless the play button is pressed Music will also make your blog take forever to load for those with only dial up -- and it may sorta, kinda wipe out what the person already may have playing on their computer. But nice selection -- It might be fun to fiddle with my own blog to add some music selections, so I had checked out the application you used, and to my delight found some vids of a particular musical I love, clips which I hadn't realized were available, which means I better download now while I still can! And as long as you're doing some housekeeping, I believe the link on your st-simon-stock blog could use the new correct link to this blog.]

  5. A friend of mine came round a day after I had had my 12 week scan with my 4th child. I showed her the photo. "It looks like a baby!" she said, obviously shocked.
"It is a baby." I said.
She ran out of my house. She has had 2 abortions-may God bless her and comfort her, because surely she had been lied to.

  6. Great interview, but I'm afraid the music drove me mad too!

  7. Is there a way to include the music, but have the default mode to "pause" instead of play?

  8. No. Can't see why people can't press pause. But clearly they find this too awkward. I rather liked having the music playing when I brought my blog up on my computer. Now it's back to the radio. Still, hardly of great import when compared with the topic of this post.

  9. Thanks for turning off the music...at least when you have a video on. . The video should be widely disseminated, so I hope to reproduce it on my blog in near future, of course with acknowledgement to you blog

  10. Thanks for this newsclip Fr., it deserves a wide airing even if it doesn't get one on UK TV, so I have copied it on my blog, with an acknowlegement of your own.
