Many thanks for the link, and congratualtions on your new blog. Now that's what I call a "classy" start (ahem).

The BBC site should be available worldwide, unlike the Classic FM one which is restricted to the UK.

Elizabeth: although you can't get that station anymore on the web, you might be interested to know that the presenter is actually Petroc Trelawney, who used to present on Classic FM in its early days back in the 1990s, but then moved (back?) to the BBC. Great presenter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845239886251312993.post-69378876206633887892009-08-02T23:47:09.326-07:002009-08-02T23:47:09.326-07:00Komm, Jesu komm - not only is the musical beautifu...Komm, Jesu komm - not only is the musical beautiful so are the words........This is one of my favourites along with 'Jesu meine freude' - the latter with it's wonderful opening melody and words...."Jesus my joy, my heart's pasture. A pity - I actually used to order CDs and music I heard on Classic FM, and I ordered from British companies because it was often not available in the US. But I guess that didn't matter. Sigh.

If I were a composer, I'd much rather have people listening to me than paying my publisher during my lifetime and my publisher and my relatives after my death.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04493096470169447646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845239886251312993.post-60252183160250060492009-08-02T11:41:26.205-07:002009-08-02T11:41:26.205-07:00Thanks for the link, Father!
